A3O, born and raised in Brixton, South London, with Nigerian heritage, has emerged as London’s treasure for Afrobeat. His musical journey began at the age of four when he started singing in a school choir, and since then, he has continued to captivate audiences with his magnetic stage presence and melodic thrill.
The artist’s notable moments include performing at the SSE Arena Wembley, sharing the stage with Kylie Minogue at BBC’s annual Radio 2 Festival in Hyde Park, and supporting renowned afrobeats artists at the EartH (Evolutionary Arts Hackney) for the Palm Wine Fest London.
In 2022, A3O was named MOBO UnSung’s UK Afrobeat artist, marking a significant milestone in his career. He became a Sofar Sounds Resident artist, headlining over 30 sold-out shows across the United Kingdom. A3O also successfully toured eight cities in the UK to promote the MOBO Unsung Album, celebrating the MOBO Awards’ 25th Anniversary.
