AD DJ, the self-proclaimed “People’s Champ” and Ghana’s leading figure in the global Afrobeats movement, is making waves with his transition from mastering the turntables to creating his own music. Teaming up with Afropop sensation D Jay, AD DJ introduces his debut single “Come Inside,” produced by the talented 2shuus.

About AD DJ:
Samuel Opoku Adom, widely known as AD DJ, is an award-winning professional DJ, music artiste, and creative curator based in Accra, Ghana. He rose to prominence in 2014 when he joined Ghana’s leading urban music and entertainment station, YFM, as a Radio DJ (which he has now left). AD DJ is a regular on Accra’s biggest on-air youth radio program, the YCampus Express show.
AD DJ also holds the prestigious position of Resident DJ at Front/Back Accra, Ghana’s top members-only club, frequented by global superstars such as Kendrick Lamar and Chance The Rapper. He has graced the stage at Afrochella, one of Africa’s biggest cultural festivals, headlined by renowned artists like Wizkid in 2021 and Burna Boy in 2022. AD DJ has performed at some of the best nightclubs in Ghana and made guest mix appearances on Capital Xtra with Manny Norte, BBC1Xtra with Remi Burgz, and more.
His talent extends beyond DJ’ing, as AD DJ is a multi-award-winning artiste and was nominated for Best DJ Act at the last edition of the Ghana Entertainment Awards, USA. He is also known for curating occasional playlists that resonate with diverse audiences.
