Translated from Twi, “Asikyire” means “Sugar,” a fitting title for a song that sweetens the musical landscape with its irresistible charm. Taken from Akwaboah’s “Lighthouse Album,” which was released in 2023, “Asikyire” stands as the 9th track on this 11-track masterpiece. The album features a star-studded lineup of collaborations, including EFYA, Kwabena Kwabena, Adina, Strongman, and TXT, showcasing Akwaboah’s versatility and artistry.
