Ghanaian music sensation Arathejay is closing out a landmark year with his highly anticipated debut headline concert, Nimo Live. Set for December 19th at Alliance Française in Accra, the intimate event will celebrate the artist’s meteoric rise and incredible achievements in 2024.

This year has marked a breakthrough for Arathejay, whose ascent to prominence in the African music scene has been underscored by key milestones. In June, Spotify spotlighted him as part of its #FreshFinds Africa initiative, and in October, he was named Apple Music’s Spotlight Artist, cementing his status as one of the continent’s most exciting talents.

A defining moment of Arathejay’s career came with the release of his hit single Jesus Christ II, featuring Black Sherif. The track has become a cultural phenomenon, holding a top-three spot on Apple Music’s Top 100: Ghana chart since its August release and earning a spot on Apple Music’s Africa Now: Best of 2024 playlist.

Ahead of the concert, Arathejay is set to release a brand-new single, Grenade, on Friday. The track will serve as a prelude to the Nimo Live experience, building excitement for what promises to be a memorable evening of music and connection.

Speaking about the upcoming event, Arathejay shared: “This concert is going to be just me and my fans because we deserve a celebration for the year. I’m excited to connect with my fans and share this moment of gratitude for an incredible year. It’s going to rank up there with the best intimate shows.”
