Breaking News: Vice president Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia loses mother Hajia Mariama

Vice President of the Republic of Ghana Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has just lost his Biological mother. Hajia Mariama died 2 days away from her 82nd birthday.

The sad news was announced by Vice President Bawumia in a Facebook post. Announcing the demise of his late mum he wrote;

“It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved mother Hajia Mariama Bawumia. Hajaa Mariama passed away peacefully this morning in Accra. Burial is scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, September 14, 2021 in Walewale. May the Almighty Allah grant her Jannatul Firdaus.

Burial service is going to take place tomorrow as per the laws of Islam. According to the Vice president he owed his success to his late mother together with his father who laid a firm foundation for him. Hajia Miriama was one of the northern female students to have gained admission to the prestigious Welsey Girls Senior High School.
