Ghanaian rapper, Black Sherif known in real life as Mohammed Ismail Sherif won Four awards at the just ended 3Music Awards.
This was his debut entry, a grand entry for that matter into the prestigious 3Music Awards. The Second Sermon Hitmaker was nominated in the 5th annual 3Music Awards, in more than 5 categories including the overall artiste of the year. Black Sherif won four (4) awards at a go on the awards night which took place on March 26, 2022, at the Grand Arena in Accra.
The awards include; Breakthrough Act Of The Year, Hip Life/Hip Hop Act Of The Year, Hip Hop Song of the (second sermon), and Song Of The Year (Second Sermon). He forfeited the artiste of the year to Kidi of Lynx Entertainment, who emerged the highest winner on the night with 6 awards.
Black Sherif, out of excitement announced on stage that he will be releasing a song titled “Kweku The Traveler” on Thursday, March 31, 2022. Anticipate!
The 5th edition of the prestigious 3Music Awards came off last night at the Grand Arena, AICC. The big event began with a pre-show dubbed the Drip Carpet, hosted by MzGee, Jackie, Bliss King, and Victoria Lebene.
The hosts for the main awards show were Naa Ashorkor and Jay Foley. The event began quite late due to technical hitches. However, afterward, it turned out to be a magnificently rolled-out show.
