Rising Ghanaian musician and producer BoyOctave (born Eugene Amponsem Boakye) has unveiled his sultry new Afrobeats single “Come On”, a seductive ode to intimacy and desire. The track marks the latest offering from the Akropong Akuapem-native as he continues his musical ascent under Legendary Records.
“Come On” immerses listeners in a world of sensual rhythms, blending pulsating drums with smooth melodies to create the perfect soundtrack for romantic moments. The track showcases BoyOctave’s signature melodic compositions, honed through diverse influences ranging from WizKid and Burna Boy to Nat King Cole and Bob Marley – a musical foundation shaped by his father’s eclectic weekend playlists.
“I pour my soul into every production, and ‘Come On’ represents that raw, emotional side of my artistry,” says BoyOctave. “It’s about losing yourself in the moment, whether with someone special or just vibing alone.”
Having collaborated with prominent Ghanaian artists including Asakaa Boys, Yaw Tog, and Kofi Jamar, BoyOctave has been steadily building his reputation as both a performer and producer. His work under the “Grandpa Made It” production banner has generated growing anticipation among fans.
