This year, Asa Baako introduces an exciting new dimension—the Asa Baako RoadTrip (2nd–9th March)—offering festival-goers an extended adventure through Ghana’s cultural landmarks, before culminating in the legendary Busua festivities.

Timed to coincide with Ghana’s Independence Day, the event brings together live performances, sound systems, open-mic sessions, treks, surfing, yoga, beach games, discussions, conservation workshops, and more, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of Busua Beach.

New for 2026: Asa Baako Road Trip

In 2026, adventurous festival-goers can join the new Asa Baako RoadTrip with Wild Tours – an eight-day cultural immersion exploring Ghana’s rich heritage, from Accra to Shai Hills, Kakum, Elmina, and Nzulezu, before joining the main event in Busua. Hotel packages include meals and curated local transport for a seamless experience.
