Ghanaian singer/songwriter Dayonthetrack ends the year with a soft pop record intertwined with afrobeats ‘Take Me Back’ sees the singer collaborate with A-Swxg for a catchy track that is guaranteed to leave you in your feelings.
Dayonthetrack has been gaining huge momentum this year having featured on numerous tracks on the Kwesi Arthur debut album ‘Son of Jacob’ alongside writing some of his smash hits; ‘Baajo’ & ‘Celebrate’. Day’s chorus on leading record from the project ‘Animal’ has seen Tik Tok users rise up and take on the challenge.

“Take me back basically is about a bitter breakup that the initiator tries to play victim because he regrets actions and wants to reconcile but can’t admit mistakes and apologize. I wanted to highlight some traits of a toxic person in a relationship who is mostly very good at being manipulative”
