“MALLY MUSIC” stands out with its unique soundscapes, featuring collaborations with Denle the Chant Goddess, a long-time friend he met a decade ago, and Chidii, a fantastic and crazy vocalist. Their contributions add richness and variety to the EP, making it a must-listen for music lovers.
For the past three years, DP MALLY has been living in Nairobi, Kenya, where he connects with friends and promotes his music. Despite being a Naija boy at heart, with Lagos as his true home, Nairobi has become a central hub for his promotional efforts. His connection to Nairobi is also influenced by his admiration for local artists like Miss Karun from Camp Mulla and Bien from Sauti Sol.
In a recent exclusive interview, DP MALLY shared insights into his journey as an independent artist. He emphasized the challenges of creating music and making a living without the support of a major label. “My music is all about life – love, doubt, and hustle. It’s not easy as an independent artist,” he revealed. The struggle is real, but his passion and dedication drive him forward.
