Ghanaian artist Fameye has released his third studio album, Three Times of Peter, a project that continues his deeply personal and reflective musical journey. The album, unveiled during an intimate event in Accra on December 18, 2024, cements Fameye’s place as one of Ghana’s most profound musical storytellers.
The unveiling event, attended by industry figures, served as a prelude to the highly anticipated Fameye Family Concert on December 20. Fameye treated his guests to live performances of tracks from the album, accompanied by his band, offering a preview of the artistry and depth captured in the project.
The Three Times of Peter tracklist features standout songs, including “Nonstop,” “Not God,” “Sober” featuring Patoranking, “Lockdown” featuring Amakyetherapper, “Control” featuring Kweku Smoke, “Very Soon,” and “I Want.” The album highlights Fameye’s signature blend of soulful melodies and powerful storytelling, with collaborations that showcase his versatility.
At the event, Fameye reflected on the significance of the album, stating, “This project is probably going to be the last time I talk about Peter.” For Fameye, born Peter Famiyeh Bozah, the name “Peter” is deeply symbolic. It represents his personal journey, serving as a metaphor for the struggles he’s endured, the growth he’s achieved, and the aspirations that drive him forward.
Building on the themes introduced in his 2022 album, Songs of Peter, Fameye continues to use his music to share messages of resilience, faith, and success. “Peter” is not only a connection to his real name but also a bridge to his audience, drawing from his humble beginnings to inspire listeners around the world.
