Tanzanian music heavyweight Harmonize is setting his sights on global dominance with a major addition to his team. On Friday, April 18, the Konde Music Worldwide boss officially announced that George Beke, better known across the industry as Geobek, will now serve as his international manager.
Geobek isn’t new to the Harmonize camp. He played a critical behind-the-scenes role as executive producer and A&R for the singer’s chart-topping single “Single Again,” which was produced by Mozambique’s DJ Tarico. That collaboration sparked a creative connection that has evolved into a formal working relationship.
With a strong background in A&R, music business strategy, and artist development, Geobek brings invaluable experience to the Konde Gang team. He is widely respected across Africa for his work with powerhouses like Burna Boy, Mr Eazi, Runtown, LayLizzy, DJ Tarico, and the Yaba Buluku Boyz a group that has collaborated with Harmonize.
As the Managing Director of Geobek Entertainment, a leading name in music and media across the continent, Beke has been instrumental in pushing African talent to global audiences. He is also known for mentoring both emerging and established creatives, helping them sharpen their skills and break new ground in the industry.
A graduate of the University of Johannesburg with a degree in Audiovisual Communication, Geobek has merged academic insight with street-savvy experience, making him a key player in the evolution of African music.
