Renowned German musician, Gentleman has confirmed new collaboration with Ghanaian artiste, Stonebwoy.
The announcement comes weeks after the two reggae musicians, revered with coveted laurels and huge crossover singles, connected for the first time early this summer after delivering enthralling performances respectively at Summerjam Festival. Although the collaboration is apparent, neither musician has confirmed any further details about the project.
On Wednesday (August 3), Stonebwoy confirmed the existence of the upcoming project when he shared a snippet from what is believed to be the official music video shot for the project on his social media channels. Gentleman also affirmed the project would be released soon in a Facebook post. He wrote: “New music alert!!! Mad combination! Big up my brother Stonebwoy!”
Though this would mark their debut collaborative effort, Stonebwoy and Gentleman have shared the stage in recent times. The German musician brought back Stonebwoy to herald his performance at the just-ended Uppsala Reggae Festival in Sweden. The two have been confirmed as headliners for this year’s African Music Festival in Germany on August 6th.
This feature would complement Stonebwoy’s current brilliant collaborations. In April, reggae legend Alpha Blondy featured him on “Love Power,” a standout single off his album.
