GH Family is comprised of RKB, a Ghanaian UK-based artist, producer, and filmmaker, and NAD, an artist and sound engineer. Together, the duo craft music rooted in powerful storytelling, drawing from themes of street life, social injustice, personal struggle, and the Gospel. The creation of “Do Your Dance” highlights the duo’s strong collaborative chemistry. “It all started with the original song NAD produced,” RKB explains. “When I heard it, I knew the intro had more potential than the hook. I told him, ‘Go back and give us more of that.’” NAD adds, “When I brought back the revised version, he loved it. After he recorded his verse, I pulled the catchiest part to strengthen the hook. Now, we’re excited to share our first single with the world.”
Inspired by the Tanzanian safari and elements of the Swahili language, “Do Your Dance” captures the essence of African movement through an energetic Afrobeat lens.
