In a bold and exciting introduction to the Afro-fusion landscape, the dynamic duo GH Family announces the release of their debut single, “Do Your Dance,” arriving on January 20, 2026. The Afrobeat-infused record marks the first official release under their newly launched label, GHF Media Inc., founded in 2025 by RKB as a platform to bring their creative vision to a global audience.
GH Family is comprised of RKB, a Ghanaian UK-based artist, producer, and filmmaker, and NAD, an artist and sound engineer. Together, the duo craft music rooted in powerful storytelling, drawing from themes of street life, social injustice, personal struggle, and the Gospel. Their sound blends African traditions with contemporary rhythms, creating music that not only moves the body but resonates deeply with the soul.
The creation of “Do Your Dance” highlights the duo’s strong collaborative chemistry. “It all started with the original song NAD produced,” RKB explains. “When I heard it, I knew the intro had more potential than the hook. I told him, ‘Go back and give us more of that.’” NAD adds, “When I brought back the revised version, he loved it. After he recorded his verse, I pulled the catchiest part to strengthen the hook. Now, we’re excited to share our first single with the world.”
Inspired by the Tanzanian safari and elements of the Swahili language, “Do Your Dance” captures the essence of African movement through an energetic Afrobeat lens. The track blends Afro-dance rhythms, urban gospel undertones, street realism, and cinematic emotion—reflecting GH Family’s cross-continental journeys and multidisciplinary backgrounds. With NAD’s refined production and RKB’s visual storytelling expertise, the duo deliver a vibrant, immersive sound that feels both grounded and forward-thinking.
More than just a debut, “Do Your Dance” sets the tone for GH Family’s artistic mission: creating music as lived experience. Influenced by icons such as Daddy Lumba, Amakye Dede, Michael Jackson, Jadakiss, and Nas, GH Family position themselves as storytellers of the African experience—offering a soundtrack for those navigating life, culture, and faith in a modern world.
