Ghanaian Urban Entertainment Blog Ghana Plug, launched an extension of their Website Ghana Plug News to provide breaking news, sports, politics, business, and trending stories in Ghana.
According to their Founder, this extension was launched to capture and maintain a substantial slice of users in the digital space, and also part of their initiative to connect Ghana to other parts of the World.
“We didn’t want to mix Local news as in sports, business, etc with music and urban entertainment on one website.. so we launched Ghana Plug News. Our aim is to develop and grow a dedicated and loyal audience through an engaging brand. ‘Audience first’ has been our main priority as a result we sort to select and emphasize the vital information that is interesting, entertaining, and useful to our users.” – their founder, Osafo Daniel said.
The new website has Blue as its Primary color and Both the homepage and story pages are designed to give more prominence to new stories and the top headlines will be flagged with a ‘top’ badge.
“We had to make this look different so we chose blue .. and since blue represents trust, loyalty, and accessibility we decided to go with it. This extension/rebranding also represents a new “global visual language” for Ghana Plug.” – He continued.
