“Addictive” is a thrilling collaboration that combines the infectious energy of Jadel and Charly Black. Recorded in Jamaica and finalized in New York City, this track boasts the best of both worlds, merging Trinidad and Tobago’s vibrant music scene with Jamaica’s renowned dancehall culture.
Jadel, also known as Jardine Cherelle Le Gere, has been passionately pursuing her love for music since the tender age of 9. Her journey started with school and church choirs and later led her to collaborate with popular Caribbean bands like Surface and Traffik. Over the years, she has established herself as an independent recording artist, singer, songwriter, and pianist.
In 2014, Jadel joined forces with accomplished Soca songwriter and producer Kernal Roberts, marking a significant turning point in her career. She went on to win the Carib Breakout Artiste award in 2016 with her hit Chutney Soca release, “All of It.” This achievement led to a European tour covering the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Spain.
The year 2018 brought remarkable milestones for Jadel. She became a mother and released two hit singles, “Round and Round” and “Dominate.” The success of “Round N Round” catapulted her to the 2018 Trinidad Soca Monarch finals. In 2019, Jadel collaborated with Soca artist and producer Motto for “Jam Day,” a track that became a favorite during the 2019 Trinidad Carnival season, earning her a spot in the 2019 International Soca Monarch semifinals.
Encouraged by her achievements, Jadel embarked on a North American Caribbean tour in 2019, opening for Kes the Band at the renowned Best Buy Theatre in New York City. The year 2020 marked the debut of her album, “Call Me Jadel,” which showcased her past hits, including “Dominate,” “Round N Round,” “Jam Day,” and the R&B Soca-infused single “Hold Me Close.”
With her latest release, “Addictive,” featuring Charly Black, Jadel continues to rise in the music industry, solidifying her status as a versatile and dynamic artist with a commitment to delivering memorable and addictive tunes.
