London/Manchester-based artist Jesse Francis is out with the release of his latest single, “gogo.” This dynamic track, born from late-night studio sessions and fueled by the shared ambition of living life to the fullest, embodies the relentless hustle and determination inspired by the grind and camaraderie of close friends. With influences from his experience playing strings for Burna Boy, “gogo” is a seamless fusion of Afrobeat, hip-hop, and R&B, delivering an electrifying and uplifting musical experience.
Jesse Francis, a U.K. born Zimbabwean/Nigerian artist, songwriter, producer, rapper, and singer, has emerged as a versatile force in the music industry since surfacing from the London/Manchester music scene in 2017. His musical journey, shaped by his early studies of the Viola at the Royal College of Music and his upbringing playing the Organ at church, has led to the creation of “gogo” and a forthcoming debut album titled “Frontier.”
“Frontier” promises to explore Jesse’s signature sound, blending elements of hip-hop, R&B, and Afrobeat with a mainstream yet underground twist. With catchy melodies and gospel-related lyrics, Jesse’s music aims to uplift, heal, and bring joy to people, resonating with listeners on a profound level and offering a unique perspective on life and experiences.
In support of “gogo,” Jesse Francis plans to leverage social media campaigns, feature afrobeat dancers posting videos to the song, and perform at local venues to bring the infectious energy of the track to life. “gogo” is the perfect soundtrack for a holiday somewhere tropical by the beach, capturing the spirit of adventure and celebration.
