British-Moroccan singer Kenza Blanka has captured the essence of youthful joy and independence with the release of her latest single, “Wahia Baba,” featuring Flomine. This fun and light-hearted song embodies the spirit of women reveling in the company of friends, embracing their freedom, and receiving valuable advice from older female figures, such as aunts or mothers, to not take life too seriously and to carve their own path. Sung in Arabic, French, and English, “Wahia Baba” is a cultural fusion that combines the North of Morocco’s reggada music with amapiano vibes and a London twist, creating a vibrant and unique musical experience.

The song represents the carefree spirit of the dance leader, “Wahia Baba,” who effortlessly leads others into dance, a traditional movement in Morocco. “Wahia Baba” is a celebration of music and dance as avenues for freedom from troubles, embodying the rich cultural heritage of Morocco and the joyous spirit of its people.

Kenza Blanka, known for her unique trilingual vocals, gained recognition as a contestant on The Voice UK 2020 and is currently working on a new album that blends traditional Berber tribal music with modern Arabic and Afro music fusions, infused with a UK vibe. Signed to Universal Music in 2022, Kenza Blanka is collaborating with Moroccan producers such as Soufiane AZ (Manal Slay) and music master expert Flomine to bring her innovative vision to life.
In addition to her musical prowess, Kenza Blanka is the founder of a clothing brand designed and made in Morocco, promoting self-love, cultural pride, and authenticity with traditional Berber symbols representing “freedom.”

Beyond her musical endeavors, she is a TED speaker, a short film director and producer, with short films on YouTube that reflect her philosophy of true self-acceptance, titled “My Beliefs.”

Kenza Blanka’s work serves as a bridge between Moroccan music and heritage, bringing the vibrancy of Moroccan culture to the UK and promoting its rich traditions in her artistic journey.
