After spending three straight months on the road, King Promise finally wrapped up his highly patronized “5 Star” world tour, concluding the grand series of 20 dates in 20 cities across Europe, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
The debonair crooner and award-winning vocalist enthralled his worldwide audience with trailblazing performances beginning with three concert dates in the last week of September when he headlined New York on September 24th, Washington on September 28th, and Atlanta on September 29th, followed by groundbreaking sets in nine other US cities – Washington, Atlanta, Seattle, Chicago, Minneapolis, Boston, Philadelphia, Cincinnati, and Oslo throughout October.
Following the completion of the world tour’s US leg, the Accra-based musician extended his shows in ten cities across Europe and the United Kingdom with schedules in October and November. Throughout his dates, King Promise demonstrated his evolution as one of the leading musical artists of his generation through energetic stage composition and creative ingenuity.
Last night, at the final show of his ‘5 STAR’ world tour in London, King Promise relived the earlier stages in his career as he wowed the audience with performances of breakout singles, like “Selfish”, “Bra” (featuring Legendary Kojo Antwi), “Sisa”, “Commando” and more. Promise continued the performance with compelling deliveries of lead singles off his latest album “Ginger”, “Ten Toes” featuring Omah Lay, “Slow Down”, “Ring My Line” (featuring Headie One), and more.
The final night’s highlight was when Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Wizkid surprised King Promise on stage to perform their collaborative hit single “Tokyo” live. The concert’s energized audience responded with euphoric chants and waved their beautifully lit phone light.

The tour was scheduled in support of his latest album “5 Star”, which follow his 2019’s debut LP As Promised, (which saw him share tracks with Raye, and Wizkid and claim Ghana’s most streamed album of all time).
A highly anticipated album, 5 Star is exactly that, pure excellence and the highest standard possible across 14 tracks. His best project yet, King Promise lives up to his reputation as Ghana’s cultural connector throughout the diaspora globally with tracks from Headie One and WSTRN (UK), Frenna (Amsterdam), Chance The Rapper, and Vic Mensa (USA), Omah Lay and Patoranking (Nigeria) and Bisa Kdei (Ghana).
Since the release of the first single “Slow Down” last year and subsequent tracks “Bad ‘N’ Rude ft. WSTRN”, “Choplife ft. Patronaking”, “Ring My Line ft Headie One” and the most recent “Ginger”, King Promise’s mellow yet danceable blend of afrobeats, highlife, indie, R&B and more have caught the attention of key tastemakers including The Face, i-D, The Independent, Highsnobiety, Loud & Quiet, DJ Target and more.
