German-Ghanaian artist Kingsley Q has recently released a captivating new song titled “Thinkin Bout You.” This poignant ballad draws from the performer’s personal experiences and is co-written by Brianna Drain, known for her work on Michael Schulte’s “Back to the Start.” The track resonates deeply, particularly during late-night hours when sleep eludes us and memories of past relationships dominate our thoughts. It’s the kind of song that begs to be turned up loud, evoking a range of emotions.

Following the success of his second EP and a sold-out venue show that caused a sensation and received promotion on Fritz Radio, “Thinkin Bout You” sets the stage for an exciting release prelude in 2024. Kingsley Q describes the track as a meeting point between heartbreak and raw emotion. After the end of a relationship, our thoughts often revolve around a particular person, and it is this feeling that he addresses in his newest song.

About the release, the singer said: “I definitely wanted to start the new year with an emotional song. Heartbreak meets a lot of feeling. I think that describes “Thinkin Bout You” best. Most of us are probably familiar with the fact that our thoughts only revolve around this one person after the end of a relationship. It’s exactly this feeling that I address in my newest song.“
