Ghana’s next-generation talent KOJO BLAK has officially released his much-awaited ‘131’ EP, a bold 9-track project that solidifies his place as one of the rising stars. Featuring Ghanaian heavyweight Sarkodie, afrobeats maestro Kelvyn Boy, and Ugandan star Joshua Baraka, the EP showcases KOJO BLAK’s artistic growth, blending Afrobeats, ambient textures, and gritty lyricism into a cohesive and captivating body of work.
The ‘131’ EP includes his previously released hit “Excellent” (feat. Kelvyn Boy) and the explosive “Next Door” (feat. Sarkodie), which has already set the streets ablaze. Each track delves into themes of identity, love, and personal evolution, offering listeners a journey through KOJO BLAK’s sonic versatility and emotional depth.

With smooth transitions between raw energy and introspective moments, KOJO BLAK crafts a soundscape that resonates on multiple levels. Whether it’s the hard-hitting bars on “Next Door”, the melodic warmth of “Excellent”, or the genre-blurring experimentation across the project, the EP proves KOJO BLAK is pushing boundaries while staying true to his roots.
“This EP is a reflection of my journey—the struggles, the growth, and the music that kept me going. I wanted to create something that feels fresh but still connects deeply. Whether it’s the energy of ‘Next Door’ or the vibes of ‘Excellent,’ there’s a piece of me in every track.”
