It serves as a way for Lollise to report to her father about the egregious and unjust events that took place after his passing, while assuring him that things turned out alright. The song’s vibrant instrumentation and fervent emotion are beautifully complemented by a vibrant video co-directed by Lollise and Tiffany Smith.

Drawing inspiration from her personal experiences, Lollise creates music that tells stories of real and imagined worlds, multidimensional and nuanced, historical and futuristic.
With “eDube,” Lollise showcases her versatility as a writer and artist. Collaborating with the super-talented Congolese guitarist Yohni Djungu Sungu (Loboko), she infuses the song with fat bass and shimmering guitar parts, adding depth and richness to the track.
