Rising Ghanaian multi-genre artist Nii Lartey has unveiled his deeply personal new single “Ghost Whisperer”, a haunting exploration of inner demons and spiritual resilience. Born Saint Christopher Nii Lartey Mensah, the Tema-native continues his tradition of crafting music that confronts life’s complexities through rich lyrical storytelling and genre-defying soundscapes.
Drawing inspiration from anime metaphor (Sasuke from Naruto) and his Christian spirituality, “Ghost Whisperer” presents a visceral portrayal of internal conflict. The track follows Nii Lartey’s established pattern of tackling profound themes, having previously addressed societal pressures (Antisocial), existential reflection (Lost Boys), and celebratory escapism (Bottles).

His unique multilingual approach – blending Ga, Twi, Pidgin, and English – creates an authentic bridge between traditional Ghanaian culture and contemporary Afropop sensibilities.
“Music is my vessel for understanding human struggle and divine strength,” explains Nii Lartey, whose childhood in a music-filled Ga household shaped his artistic perspective. “Ghost Whisperer” arrives as the latest chapter in his growing discography that positions him as one of Ghana’s most thought-provoking emerging voices.
