Fast-rising Ghanaian High-Life sensation, Ohene Parker has finally released the official music video for his smash hit single “Follow.”
The singer brings the song to life with captivating visuals highlighting beautiful landscapes and scenery. Just like the song which takes the listener on a musical journey to express their unplumbed feelings, the video drives the viewer into the enthralling panorama of Aburi.
Predominantly shot in and around the Adom Falls in Aburi, the video showcases nature in its rawest form. It opens with a green picturesque shot before transitioning to capture the beautiful dark skin vixen who follows the singer and his entourage into the wild.
Ohene Parker then comes through with his gang on motorbikes as they ride through the meandering roads into the forest. By beautifully combining aerial and close-up shots, Vision by London – the video director, brings out the song’s message in motion pictures.
The music video ends deep into the night with the vixen walking into the dark illuminated by a single light source and the message “within the blend of light and darkness, lies the canvas for crafting a truly extraordinary tapestry of experience.”
And indeed, Ohene Parker has been able to craft a masterpiece of a song and finally brought it into life to be experienced with this new video. Ohene Parker describes the song as a “delightful and uplifting song that beautifully captures the essence of pure joy and boundless happiness.” The music video was an Ethellion production with cinematography by Cyril Mettle.
