Rwanda-born, London-based artist Saràh Phenom opens a new era with her sizzling new single ‘10%’, out on Friday 10th May.

Her first single in two years, ‘10%’ (produced by Guilty Beatz and TMXO) announces the musical phenomenon’s return with a cool RnB groove, ingenious synth melodies and clever lyrical metaphors drawing links between relationships and phone batteries. “You’re on my mind again / but I’m on like 10%”, she sings over the track’s flawless production.

“The song is a love song, with a twist”, Sarah says. “It really is about things that girls and everyone goes through in relationships. It’s the push and pull between two people that just can’t get on the same page, as much as they’re attracted to each other, they’re equally frustrated with each other and the track takes you through that journey.”

Saràh’s upcoming EP is a vibrant compilation of tracks that encapsulate two years of accumulated experiences. It embodies the excitement, daring, and complexity of her journey, offering listeners a glimpse into her life as a woman who grew up in Rwanda, matured in Europe, and is now forging her path in London’s music scene.

Saràh Phenom, a luminary in the world of music and fashion, was born in the vibrant landscapes of Rwanda. From a young age, Saràh exhibited an unparalleled uniqueness, fostering a sense of being an ‘alien’ due to her distinctive way of thinking and her eclectic tastes in music and culture. Her childhood in Rwanda and later years in Europe instilled in her a profound sense of individuality and a deep understanding of diverse cultural perspectives. These experiences not only shaped her worldview but also her artistic endeavors, earning her the moniker “Phenom” from her teachers, who saw her as nothing short of a phenomenon.

Now residing in London, Saràh’s musical inspiration stems from the rich tapestry of sounds she grew up with, influenced heavily by her grandfather’s love for Latin and classical music.
