Multiple award-winning Ghanaian rap legend Sarkodie has officially announced that his flagship Rapperholic Concert will make its highly anticipated debut in Kumasi on September 27, 2025.
The groundbreaking announcement was made via Sarkodie’s Instagram with the caption: “It’s Official #RapperholicTheHomeComing. This year we bring my people in Oseikrom a treat! 27th September. Tickets out this Friday, 25 July!!! I’m gassed up 💨💨💨”, accompanied by the official event artwork.
In preparation for this landmark event, Sarkodie and his team recently paid a courtesy visit to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, at the Manhyia Palace. The visit served to present the concert plans and seek royal blessings formally. The Asantehene warmly welcomed the initiative and expressed his enthusiasm to attend the historic show.
This edition marks the first-ever Rapperholic Concert in Kumasi, bringing Sarkodie’s acclaimed live experience to his Ashanti region roots. Known for its electric performances and surprise appearances, the Rapperholic series has become one of Africa’s most anticipated annual music events.
