On Thursday, Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy joined other Ashaiman residents to clean the gutters. The exercise was to mark the National Cleaning Day campaign launched by President Akufo-Addo.
The clean-up exercise was organized by the Municipal Chief Executive, Albert Boakye Okyere. Stonebwoy’s participation was geared towards his Ashaiman to the World festival expected to come off from September 1 to 3.

In some videos shared on his social media platforms, Stonebwoy was seen with some cleaning tools while standing in gutters with others dredging them. Some fans who were present praised the ‘Therapy’ hitmaker while he stood in the drains with a shovel working with some of the residents.
“Cleanliness is Next To Godliness…Joined the MCE And The People Of Ashaiman To Participate in the National Cleaning Day Exercise…Health is Wealth, clean Earth. Join Us On the 1-3 Sept…#AshaimanToTheWorldFestival 🌍🤍,” Stonewboy captioned his post on Instagram

Also, Ghanaian Afro-dancehall and reggae musician Stonebwoy months ago announced that the 2022 Ashaiman To The World Festival (previously known as the Ashaiman To The World Concert) will return this year for its 7th edition on September 3rd, after being postponed twice due to coronavirus concerns.
Earning recognition as one of the most popular and largest artist-led free music festivals in the country, fans should expect an unrivaled celebration of arts and culture aptly curated by the DefJam signed artiste where he will be joined by a legion of musical artists and a variety of creatives to perform in his home state of Accra. Following the success of the 2019 edition, which drew 100,000 people, this year’s edition is expected to be a week-long celebration.
