Fifa has announced Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall musician Stonebwoy as one of the lineups of artists to perform at the 2022 fan festival as part of the World Cup festivities.

The ‘Therapy’ hitmaker is set to make an appearance at Doha, where the event is held, on December 16. Stonebwoy, born Livingstone Satekla, is the fourth African artiste to grace the Fan Festival stage this year.

Nigeria’s Kizz Daniel and Patoranking have both performed at earlier held festivals in November. Meanwhile, Jamaican superstar Sean Paul is expected to grace the fan festival on December 17.

The biggest excitement for football fans in African is that Nigerian superstar Davido is billed to perform at the final of the competition.

Stonebwoy has announced December 23rd, 2022 as the date for the sixth installment of his annual concert series, BHIM Concert. After a year hiatus due to the outbreak of COVID-19, Bhim Concert returned in December 2021. The Burniton Music Group produced event, themed “Beam of Hope”, featured special guest, Jamaican reggae & dancehall heavyweight, Beenie Man, and some of the country’s most talented musical artistes, such as DBlack, MzVee, Kofi Kinaata, and more who delivered noteworthy performances.

The goal of music’s biggest night, which attracts fans from all over the world, is not only to have a positive and significant economic and cultural impact on the country but also to be one of the most anticipated annual events in the city—a perfect complement to the existing national events in December.
