Rising Afro-fusion artist Tim Lyre drops his new 8-track EP, ‘MASTA’ via London and Johannesburg-based label Outer South. The project perfectly blends genres, skipping between Hip-hop, Dancehall, Amapiano, R&B, and Afrobeats. Tim has enlisted an eclectic international roster, including South African singer Khanyisa alongside Nigerian singers Tay Iwar and Minz. On the high-energy lead single, ‘MASTA’, Tim recruited Croyden-bred rapper Jords for a memorable verse on a braggadocious, self-assured anthem. Produced by Tim and Code6, ‘MASTA’ is a unique fusion of Amapiano and Dancehall, providing the perfect backdrop for both artists to go back to back.
