Born Montie Martin in the volatile community of Raymonds, Clarendon, Jamaica, hardship and determination have defined Inpha Reblitive’s journey. Losing his father at age 11, he assumed the role of breadwinner at 18, using music as both an outlet and a vehicle for change. Inpha Reblitive, otherwise known as Montie Martin is a Dancehall/Reggae artiste, who expresses a unique and more versatile side of the Jamaican Dancehall/ Reggae industry. Inpha Reblitive’s name was neatly constructed and generated over various conversations with friends, after going by a few other temporary names in his earlier years. Inpbha’s name signifies the cohesive effort that was executed to match the emotional graphic and lyrical music content that comes through the lips of this creative and talented individual. His music seemingly always captures the ears, emotions, minds, and imaginations of his listeners. His message embodies a mix of reality and relativity that echoes and is needed for this generation to live for decades.
Inpha Reblitive grew up in the volatile community of Raymonds, a small district in Clarendon, Jamaica. After losing his father at age 11, he was forced to grow up early and was faced with immense hardship and suffering, which he used as a motivating factor to hone and develop his God-given talents. He is the second (2) of three (3) children by his dad and the first (1) of three (3) children by his mother. At the age of fifteen (15), he developed an intrinsic love for music and used it to express himself during hard times. At the age of eighteen (18), Inpha assumed the role of breadwinner for his family and worked assiduously to provide for their basic needs. This was expressed in tracks such as ‘Rose & Wreath’ and ‘Papa proud’
